Car not running right. Help

So I've been having some problems with the gp. Rough idle, studdering, loss in power, running rich, sounds terrible like it's not running on all 6. SES flashing, Threw a P0300. Basically running like crap. When it first happened I cleared the code unplugged the battery for 15 min and it started up fine and went away. Then 15 min later it started again. So I changed the plugs and wires. Still doing it. Scan Guage told me it's cylinders 1 and 4 misfiring. So I changed the coil pack for 1 and 4. It went away then came back a day later. I swapped out coil pack 1 and 4 with 2 and 5 to see if the new coil pack was faulty and it was still misfiring in cylinders 1 and 4. I unplugged the MAF and it reads no misfires but still runs like crap so I also replaced the MAF but that didn't change anything. I heard the injectors don't go bad very often in these cars especially two at a time so that leaves me to believe it's the ICM. It's a 97 se 3.8 80,000 miles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. use a long screwdriver and place it on the #1 injector and put you ear up to the screwdriver if you hear a clicking noise that increases with the engine speed then that injector is working. You can do it on a known working injector to know what sound your looking for. I would start with that and see what you find out. Then do the number four cylinder. If thers no clicking noise its a bad injector.
 
Thanks for the tip. I just tried it and all 6 are clicking perfectly and increase with engine speed. So I guess it's not the injectors
 
If it were me my next step would be to make sure they are spraying right. I would pull the rails out and turn the key over and watch all six with the engine cranking make sure its a fine mist pay extra attention to the one and four cylinder. Be careful and put pig mat down and dont smoke obviously but i would try that and see what the results are
