hi guys,

my 2000 3.8L , has engine code p0107 absolute manifold pressure:th_nervous: and feels like it wants to stall???

does anyone had that code before and that symptom?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
 


Yep. Replaced my MAP sensor and it cleared up some. I had to look at it closely to see that the body of the sensor had actually separated from the bottom half and was bad. Also check for any vacuum leaks (check the back of the upper intake where the large hose comes from the brake booster). I also had a vac. leak at the map sensor housing on the upper intake. Replaced the PCV valve (including o-ring), the large o-ring in the housing and it took care of it.

Let me guess, if you two-foot it and raise the idle to say 1000 rpm, then it smooths out and idles fine?
