• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

car feel different after header install. or maybe im tripping.

sure thats all i wanted to know. a tune and a drop will get my torque back. but the tune might tale a min to get. . . *wonder how much a dyno tune would cost*

its around 400 bucks the first time and cheaper every time after

Drop to a 3.6 pulley. Get a overkill tune. Or, buy a intercooler, cam, drop to a 2.8 and then get a tune. The second option is much more fun.

from wat i heard i can run a 3.4 because i have headers. but the second is alot of work. an intercooler and especially a cam is hard work.

hmm with my mods i would say it definately pulls me back in my seat. and your mods are similiar to mine just more dangerous because you don't have supporting mods. If your sig is correct and your running a 2.8 pulley on a stock computer with stock plugs and wires you better start saving for a new motor. If you do get a dyno tune let us know how much of a difference you notice. At least I'm interested.

the o4+ cars are more prone to kr (because of the more efficient blower i think.)

but anyways i dont think its quite safe to run a 3.4 on it, you may have read something saying its safe for a 97-03, which is inapplicable to you.

im not too sure but id try and find out before you slap the 3.4 on there

It's actually the other way around. The 04+ blowers are ported way more and provide a better airflow overall which actually decreases KR. That's why porting a 04+ blower is kind of pointless. But even still, I wouldn't run that set up for a second especially if it's a daily driver. To all his own I suppose

The gen v moves more air with a larger pulley. Dropping to a smaller pulley creates more kr then on a gen III.

which is why when you topswap the higher compression engine, its better to to the genIII so you dnt have to worry about blowing anything up? or am i just talking out my a$$

Gen V is always the better choice you just need more flow mods.
