car drifts on the highway

i have one inner rod thats from the used rack, its still tight, but i just may change that one before it goes in. they are cheap enough. that way its all fairly new up there.
im surprised my alignments not messed up from the **** ive done.

the last alignment was at brake o rama in lodi, up here on rt 46. i wont be going back. one guy hit the review on the head, ( i just saw it on line) same deal trying to sell stuff not needed, and he knew better.
i had a coupon for 25% off the alignment and i also picked up 2 new tires on sale.
i should have known it would be a crap job when the guy was trying to sell me all sorts of crap the car didnt need. the manager told me i needed a power steering pump, its a year old. a oil pan gasket but its the rear cover leaking. then tells me i need a water pump as well, its a year and a half old, and the coolant elbow was the leak. and new lca's, but they are less then a year old. and this was just by looking at them, no test for the ball joints or nothing to prove it, just said they are rusty looking, never looked under the hood either. i was like ok.... just put the tires on, use bead sealant please, balance them, and then do the alignment.
oh and he told me my rear main seal was leaking, and just a few months back i saw the seal,(when i had the trans out at bills) and this guy didnt even know you have to pull the trans or engine to change it.
it kills me that if some old woman had come in they would of had raped her purse for 2000.00 in repairs. if not more.
next stop Firestone. they have a $160 life time alignment. that covers the car as long as you own it, you can go in every 6,000 miles to have it checked and adjusted.
they also have a $80 standard, 12,000 miles/12 months warranty 4 wheel computer job. <<<<which is the one ill be getting. found a 10 bucks off coupon, so after tax and crap it will still be 80 lol

drifting problem solved. last alignment job sucked big time, it was way off.
..........left front............. toe ..............right front
now 00.01 in before -0.41 in................. now 0.04 in before -053 in ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,spec range is -0.03 in to 0.08 in
so brake O rama screwed the pooch good on this one.
the rears were slightly out, and they made them right too. but they have not been touched since i've had the car.
car rolls nice and straight, no more drifting now. and this time i have a 6 month warranty so if need be i can get it redone down the road. yea Firestone!
ill just have to run my new front tires on the back for a while till they wear flat again, then put them back on the fronts later on.

Yeah, Firestone is great...took advantage of that lifetime deal a long time ago. But for the record, Camber bolts are great but adjustable lateral arms is what makes the big difference. Stronger and allows a few more degrees in camber adjustment. You would love those adjustable lateral arms and they're pretty inexpensive for what they do in my opinion.
And 9 out of 10 times if your car is drifting or pulling(especially hard) then the alignment is usually the issue. Camber and Toe are both tire tread killers but if u have a good solid strong suspension and trying to avoid rough roads, your alignment will last pretty long. Every 6 months to a year is still the best way to go...
