Car Dont start after engine swap

do this^^^^^^ see if the the bulb flashes. sounds like your injectors are not getting power. check all the fuse box fuses and make sure everything is plugged in.

just turn the ignition to on or all the way as if I was gonna start the car?......also do I have to do this to each injector?

O.K when i put the bulb in the injector plug and turn the key to on it doesn't light up......however if I crank the motor over it does flash

your using the fuel rail and injectors form the old engine or new?

maybe try swapping the rail and injectors. maybe they are clogged up or something.

the rails are from the new motor, injectors too.....cant use the old one now I broke a few injectors trying to get it off the old motor:(

I have a l26 fuel rail and injectors. Oh I just noticed you are in Canada, I don't know how easy it would be to ship that up there.

I'm home now so it will have to wait until tomorrow. I got another question for you......tonight I noticed the starter stays engaged sometimes after u let go of the key ...funny thing thou I didn't even disconnect the wires from the starter when I took the engine out.....I just unhooked the battery, then unbolted the starter and set the starter up on the rad support ....did the same for the AC. I'm figuring it must be the silenoid sticking maybe? although when it starts ( when i spray gas in the throttle body) the starter always disengages

or a weak battery can cause it to stay out. all this cranking im sure its worn down. have you tried a charger or a jump start at all yet? maybe its just not spinning fast enough to start.

Yeah I did boost it today (as it was turning over slow at the end) ...I brought the battery home and put it on a charger...... it's only about a month old so it took a bit of cranking before it got weak

was the starter sticking as the battery was getting weak? or even when it was fresh?

maybe worth swapping it with the one that came with the new engine. if it came with one. if not you can change the solenoid.

About the injector.....I'm pretty certain I can't use them( 2 broke) as the plastic pc that broke stayed in the dome and has the o ring rubber seal on it

None came with the new motor.....yeah I was thinking the same thing, couldn't hurt to put a new one on. I was trying to get it going so long i'm not certain if it started that with a full battery or if it was later on.
