Car disabled due to theft system AFTER ZZ PCM installed

pluged computer and went to start and nothing.. then that message poped up.. what the hell is that!? HELP!!! Thanks :th_scratchhead:
 


The new PCM has to learn the security system in your car. It's called a Security Relearn. Your old PCM still remembers so of course it works.

1.) Turn the car to on, then attempt to start. Car will not start.
2.) Note security light flashing. Wait approximately ten minutes. Light stops flashing.
3.) Turn ignition to off. Wait five seconds.
4.) Repeat steps 1-3 two more times, for a total of 30 minutes.
5.) The PCM is now ready to learn the security system on the next crank. Turn the car to off, then try to start. Car will start.
 
My light isn't flashing but i'm trying it anyways. New message poped up "Theft security system not set" or something similar
 


It may not be exact, and that's what I was worried about. What happened with mine was the message center alternated the "Security" message with the "battery" icon. After ten minutes, it was only the battery icon.

Sabre TYVM. That was probably the easiest but most frustrating thing I have done lol. BTW love the new PCM :th_thumb-up:
