Capacitors??

caps are a WASTE of $$$!!! if your system is big enough(draws more then 100amps of current) a xtra bat will help but put strain on your alt. iv had an xtra red top(in trunk) on my factory alt for 5+ years with no light dimming when its cranked up, amp(s) are mmats dhcx2200.1's.. few years ago ive only been using 1 amp.. just this past summer my alt started goin out as my head lights and dome lights were startn to dim with the bass so i put an HO alt in. you should get an high output alt b4 getn caps!!!

How are you dropping down to 10.9 may I ask? You must have some serious malfunctions with your electrical? Last weekend I had 6K rms wired up in my car, and I didn't dip below 11.X... Fluke tested at front battery..
