Canuck gxp springs on an 04+ gt.

Just wondering if there is anything to worry about running the Canuck GXP lowering springs (2.5"/2"). Running, 18" msr wheels +40 offset and don't want to have issues when done but also would like to have it lower than stock.

Was originally going to go with 1.7" springs but found the gxp springs locally.
Any thoughts?

I emailed Canuck a few weeks ago and said they still had the GXP springs in stock, I did ask him about putting them on my CompG and he said that the reason they are 2.5'' drop is because of the weight difference of the engine in the GXP vs the GTP. he said if you were to put the GXP springs in the GTP you would be closer to the 1.7'' drop not the 2.5'' thats advertised for the GXP

Since when does a vehicle with just a different motor weigh that much more to where it doesn't sit as low. Sounds like some bs answer from a typical customer service line.

But the ls4 weighs about the same as the 3800 iron block like 30-40lbs so there logic is completely wrong if anything its cause our bilsteins have a higher shock spring perch than the regular 04+ which is why they engineered an even shorter spring to get us the same drop

the email wasn't very clear on why, but he was sure to tell me that putting the GXP springs on a GTP wont net you the 2.5'' thats listed as the drop. he said it would be closer to the 1.7 that your would see if you just ran the GTP spring
