I have a 2000 Grand prix GTP. So my first problem was that I couldnt write the file i had on my car because of an invalid os/vin error. I email hpsupport and said that the file cant be fixed because it was a previously written file from powertuner i think. I got a stock .bin file from someone and I tried to write it but it failed and said a os/vcm error I think.. Think it was the first step. If I get a correct .hpt file will I be able to write to my car then. Also is there a way Ill be able to switch all data from my old file to a stock file using compare in like one easy step?

Using HPT ... can you read the OSID # ? If so, shoot it to me.

Dude, that OSID is for a 98 GTP. Check your email, I sent you a gift. :) Try the new one. Only other thing I know to do is to program your VIN in there and try.

Ohh man thank you so much. Ive been trying to get this for weeks and finally it works. What exactly did you do?

If you want to compare files there's actually a compare option and it will highlight difference between the two files
It's on the menu bar.
Just open up the first file you're going to compare
click the folder with the * on it and open the second compare file.
