Can't put driver's side window up!

I'm just glad this happened while I was at home. Anyway, I pressed the down button on my window accidently. I pressed it up and it wouldn't go back up. Like an idiot, I decided to send it down lower. Now it's all the way down, and still won't go back up. I took out the window controls switch. I can hear a click when I push the driver's side down, and when I push the passenger side control up and down. Is there any way I can roll it up short term until I can get to a Pontiac parts department, and any idea how much it would cost. Is there a way to manually roll the window up, or am i just gonna have to put a bag over it for now?
 


Some times the contacts in the rocker switch get worn out. Taking them apart and cleaning them with contact cleaner should do the trick. If not you may just need to jump it off and get it up or else get a new switch.

It was one of the little white pieces at the bottom of the switch. I figured it was the switch, so I took it apart knowing I'd order a new one. I was able to move the white clear pieces to the drivers side switch and hook it back up enough to roll the window up. So I'll be OK until the new piece shows up hopefully this week. Just glad the A/C is working and I don't have to roll the window down!
 


I'm still trying to find a new switch, all I can get around here is one from a 4 door. But I went to the harness and put jumper wires on a pushbutton, so I can at least put the window down, and back up! It looks like sh!t but at leas it works until I can get a new switch. And Yes, I have tryed taking it apart, the white pice is broke, and I dont have replacement parts... so I wait.

I bought a non-OEM version off eBay, and the auto part now doesn't work. Not a big deal as I'm used to it now. But my next trip to the junk yard I'm going to look for a few of them.
