• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Well I decided to just restore the car for my mom. She has always wanted a spider and I cant take one and chop it and slam beefy motors in it right in front of her face you know. So I though i would be nice about it. Im the only one of her sons that helps out a lot and its important to me because she has cancer so i can post pictures and video of the restoration if you all would like, but i doubt it since its a granprix forum.

ohh, lol i just realized what car u were talking about when i looked at ur user name. I love little old foreign roadsters. My dad just recently sold his 79' MGB. That was a fun little car, even though it was probably the slowest car on earth.

italian cars are badass =p sorry 2 hear about your mom man. my mom also has / had cancer i know how you feel bro hang in there everything will work out for the best bro you just got to stay positive:th_thumbsup-wink:

yeah they are cool little cars.... isnt the MGB in the same family as the spider? But the 1.4 im my car would beat any british 1.8..... the differences in the design causes their motor to be inferior..... My car stock has 90hp, but it only weighs 2110 lbs, and when i upgrade the motor with new cams and **** it will haul balls and be fun.

Thanks for all the input guys. the meds she is on makes her puke her guts up twice a day every day but she should be back to the one thats once every monday soon...... crap is killing her slowly because chemo meds are toxic to the body so she has to take morphine and stuff so her kidneys dont hurt her so much.
