Gonna swap my 97 for a 99+ wanted to know can I just take it out without taking the blower or anything else off?

Coolant runs through the alternator bracket. 99+ alternator brackets use two coolant elbows while the 97-98 bracket uses only one. The two alternator brackets are completely different from each other due to the way the alternator mounts.

you prolly have the second elbow leftover, just get new o-rings for the one ur currently using and put them both in

Ok i'll do that also my altenator wire has a short could I cut the burnt portion and splice my new wire ?

Where is the short? If it's close to the connector, I'd pickup a new piggytail and solder it on.

Bill the short is close by other harnesses. . I couldn't just splice the wire? I dont have a solder gun on me

you can cut and splice it, or use a butt connector for a temp fix till you can get to soldering iron. solder will out last the wire.

I'll splice for now then use a lighter and when I can a soldering gun i'll grab one
