Can You Recommend a Year/Model for Me

I'm very interested in getting a Grand Prix. If I list a few priorities, could you point me in the right direction?

First off, I expect to get one with 100k+ miles on it. Lower would be nice. Do these cars go the distance without lots of maintenance or major failures? I don't mind infrequent repairs, and periodic maintenance. I do most stuff myself.

Here's the list:
4 Door
HUD
Best seats available
Prefer fold-down rear seats
Stock power and handling are fine
MPG
Trouble free

I'm in Utah, I appreciate any suggestions. Let me know if I need to adjust any requirements in order to target the right car. Thanks.

You want an 04+. If the car is taken care of properly and has regular maintenance done on it then it should be relatively reliable,

Aim for a 2005... It has things that were "fixed" from the 2004 model year... You get revised wheel well liners, anti-rattle headlight brackets, trunk lock cylinder removal, you'll get door badges IF you get a Comp G. There are lots of other little subtle things that were done in the second year of production. 2006+ has a lot nice trim additions in the interior, so that is a plug as well.. Also has nicer leather as far as I am concerned! I know there were tuning issues with 2006 before, but I think that's been resolved now by Will @ Overkill.

if you can find a comp G, get one. if you can find an 05+ supercharged get one.
i recently just picked up an 07 gxp with 62k on it, they are out there with low miles.

Thanks for those ideas. So it looks like to get 04+ with HUD and stay V6, the choices are 04 GT2 & GTP and 05 GT & GTP? Looks like for 06+, HUD is only available with the V8.

Highway mpg is important so non-supercharged 04 GT2 and 05GT which are available with HUD might work, but I bet other nice features would be dropped. Or I'm making it too complicated, should just get an 05 GTP.

I'd personally go with an 05 GTP, the only thing you have to watch for with the 05's is the lower intake manifold gaskets. Some got the new aluminum ones, others didn't. My 05 had the plastic/nylon gaskets and I had to change them out.

And I'd personally stay away from the non-supercharged if acceleration matters to you at all. I've got a GT and even with a few mods, it's slow. The GTP's are a little quick stock, but can be made faster for way less money than the naturally aspirated models.

I'm pulling 25.6 mpg from my NA combined mileage that's not the DIC that's with the mpg math
Edit I do 50/50 driving

on my DIC in my gxp, im pulling 29.3 mpg's combined cruising at 75 daily.
you want an 04+. heck of a lot comfier.

Not like this make or break info right here, but the supercharged cars do need 91+ octane fuel. So it's only about 5 bucks more per fuel up.

MPG should be about the same for GT to GTP, it's all about the driver.

Your choice at this point. For a daily driver I'm happy with my non-supercharged engine. On long highway trips I've hit 30mpg's, my average city(40%)-rural/hwy(60%) driving nets me ~25mpg's. They're reliable engines overall (just make sure the LIM gasket is aluminium), transmissions unfortunately aren't that great.
