Can you paint calipers (using G2) while on the car?

I painted mine using the G2 cliper kit as well. I like how yours came out. The color is a great match.

Does everyone paint the stock calipers, or are there any better ones?

You can get f body calipers for the front nad paint or powder coat them. You can also swap in grand prix GXP brakes.

hey how did you take out the pistons and seals? mine stick sometimes so i think i need to clean them up a little

sry i just saw this today.

I found a really good how-to video on the Ls1 forums, It was a video on how to take apart f-body calipers, I just used the same method for both my f-body calipers and stock rear ones. I just can't seem to find the link though

I've seen people paint/powdercoat all sort of calipers, not just the stock ones. The F-Body ones, I believe, are a different material and not just "blah-black" colored like the stock, so some people are more inclined to leave them metallic silver.

f-body ones are made of aluminum, and have 2 pistons per caliper, stock gp calipers have a single piston per caliper. I didn't want to leave my f-body calipers un-coated because i was afraid of pitting from salt over time.

btw your gp looks really good with those color matching calipers
