I came across a deal on this car
1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

It is actually my sister's car. She is going to be trading it in in the next few days, and said she would sell it to me for 1000.......tempting, but i know there are a few differences between my 98 and her 99, i am thinking as buying it purely as a parts car. Do you guys think it would even be worth it? She said it needs a water pump and front hubs eventually, and I know she has all kinds of new parts in it.

If you can get it for a grand, get it.

Doesn't look bad for that much money...needs some serious cleaning, get some TIMKEN hubs, a new WP...that'd be a good time to flush everything coolant wise out anyways....get the u-bend deleted and drive it until the wheels fall off.

it actually runs great.....i changed to coolant myself in it about a year ago.....was just thinking i liked the color of hers a little better, so i could swap out a lot of my current stuff......i already did all that on my car, so it wouldn't be hard to change the cat-back, swaybars, struts and wheels, etc over to hers once i get it cleaned up and change out the front fender. besides, my trans may be on its way out anyways, so it would be worth it even just to get the trans

mainly because i can get it cheap, and switch everything i put into my car over to it, and it kbb's for twice what i will pay for it. also, it will give me a "parts" car! I still plan on top-swapping, but around here the gtp's usually go for at least 3000 in decent shape, so i was just thinking on getting her car for now.
