most said to change the crank sensor. you could have changed for 50 bucks including the puller if you needed to buy one.

you have classic crank sensor symptoms. they work and dont work as they want to when bad, and 99% of the time never throw a code for it.

To fix your car, here's where I'd go with it.

Fuel pressure gauge on the motor. Let it idle and stall. When it stalls..if pressure is above 30psi, then it's not fuel pump, fuel speed resistor or fuel pump relay. It really doesn't sound like it is.

Unplug the maf. That's right.. unplug it and let the car run...does it stall with the maf unplugged? If no..then it's either the maf or the wiring to it. Being directly over the exhaust the wiring can get crispy and give intermittent trouble.

If neither of those fix it. I'd swap on a different ICM or crank sensor. Clearly if you have to buy..you start with crank sensor it is much cheaper. For the ICM, a JY part would be fine. They don't go often..but they can.
