I took car in for wheel alignment after installing new rear sway bar, track bar, trailing arm etc..they wanted an extra $125 to install a camber kit on driver side. Can I install kit myself?? It was -1.4 degrees

Buy some camber bolts and put them in. You would ideally bring it back for another alignment.

I am taking for granted you are referring to the back wheels.
If mine was -1.4, I would be happy. Mine is over 2 and don't notice tire wear

they cost about 20 bucks a pair, front or backs, take the top strut bolt out of the knuckle, install the camber bolt, go get it re aligned.

i just bought camber bolts for all 4 struts after installing new struts, wish i had them at the time of install, just aint had the time to install em.

Does quality of bolt matter? GM? AutoZone?

Is there a specific way to install camber bolt? Has + and - next to head. There is a number 2 on washer. Confused??

if you loosen up the lower stock bolt, you can turn the camber bolt and see the whole knuckle move.

but it might be best to just leave it tight install the new camber bolt and let the shop fine tune it, this way your no worse off if you cant get it re aligned quickly.

Just install cam bolt and get it realigned again. Just paid $59.95. Will I have to pay that amount again?

likely. you didnt pay enough for a lifetime deal. those are like 175 bucks.

never know, some shops will hook ya up being you were just there, id go back and ask.

My rears are at max camber because they ran out of adjustment. 2 shops here (but same chain) said they won't do an alignment with aftermarket camber bolts due to liability. It was suggested I slot the top hole to gain more adjustment.
