Cam sounds

I've got a pretty good idea what kinds of power gains and torque band shifting I'm going to get with the various sc cams out there, but what about sound? Out of personal experience, does anyone have any idea of the scale of sound difference (at WOT), from 4 being considerably throaty to 10 screaming banshee with rockets? Not really talking about volume, more the tone and progression of combustion creating the sound patterns. And if I'm completely wrong about something tell me. Not too familiar with the workings of camshafts and exhaust/combustion timing etc.
 


The different camshaft won't change the sound at WOT or normal driving.

It'll still sound like whatever your car sounds like now. You'll only hear the cam lope at idle.
 
Here, I took this video yesterday. Header, No cat, decent sized resonator, stock mufflers and s1x cam. I through the rpm range more but my phone died as it was recording. Anything other than idle sounds the same as stock.

Oh just quick question sorry if it's off topic but it does relate to sound. I keep hearing that if I switch my res with a glasspack, to go for the longest one I can find so as to minimize the higher frequencies. What size is your res
