are you at all worried about the trans? I talked to Dave before when I was thinking about the S1X and he said i'd potentially break the input shaft. He said to put in a shift kit and i'd be okay for a while, but the tranny still wouldn't like it.
 
The only way to break the input shaft on a TEP trans without the upgraded shafts is to runs actual SLICKS, not DR's. With a cam, headers, tune, smaller pulley...and running mid to low 13's...you'll be more than ok.

i have an intense input shaft and built trans by dave :th_thumbsup-wink:. Only thing i didn't get installed in the trans is the 7/8 single chain.
 


Wait...I thought the 7/8" chain was part of the basic Street/Strip Trans? It is the 1" Chain you can't get anymore unless you buy one from a turbo guy demodding...

No, dave talked me out of it since my car is a dd and the 7/8" chain stretches over time.

I'll upgrade it to a 7/8" maybe next year
