Cam or Rockers?

well you guy convinced me during the winter im saving for a tep trans and im going to top swap, i figure ill drive it and beat the car till its dead then part it out and make back some money, i mean i payed 4700 for it 2 years ago and it had 63k....so its well worth it, thanks a lot

ohh another question i saw a guy on here a while ago (cant remember his name) with a turbo and bagged gp he had a 5 speed swap.... do you think its worth it to put in a 5 speed? the shifter just looked so good in the gp i loved that car
 


i wouldnt really consider it a swap, more or less a very CUSTOM job that isnt worth it IMO..the guy you speak of has that car for sale if you just want to buy it ;)

yea i saw it for sale but im not interested in buying it.....i know its a lot of custom work which is why doing it was just a thought
 
I'd say a Cam would be more bang for the buck, but WAY more labor intensive. Rockers are relatively easy to do which makes them more suitable for less experienced people. Rockers and a HV3 with a good tune will make pretty good power.
 


yea installing the cam doesnt worry me i do all the work to the car myself and i have 2 friends who are mechanics, i may take longer then some people on here but i can get it done
