The C5 and C6 are two totally different body styles. you can tell them apart by the lights. vettes are not over rated, the LS motor is the greatest thing out of GM in a long time now, as said anything can happen on the street. if you want come down to Tune Time and race a couple of the C6's we've put together :th_winking:

OOO...well the only difference I noticed on our C5 and the C6 was the C6 is a little shorter and the lights. IMO thats not really a MAJOR difference...like the 02 GP and the 07GP...WAY different! But I agree with everyone when it comes to the street! ANything can happen

C6 LS2? The only 2 motors in the Corvette C6 were the LS3 (standard) and the LS7 (Z06) and the LS9 (ZR1). I didn't mean overrated power/speed wise. I meant that they are overrated because everyone talks them but being the best thing ever. Never cared much for Vette's since day one. That is just my opinion. Vette's are fast no doubt. But like I said its just my 2 cents worth. Don't listen to me if you don't care too.

Older c6 corvettes are not that fast when they first released them they had ls2's and went mid to high 12's in the quarter. Newer ones like 08 and newer are ls3's. They can go 11's factory.

And then the factory stock record for the zo6 is like 10.81 on the run flats.

Its not completely unbelievable. But honestly id say the guy couldn't drive. It is possible that 35 could be a first gear pull, maybe, probably a second gear pull though. The t56 has a 2.97/1 first gear and a 3.42 rear end. I have a 01 Camaro and the highest speed it will go to first is 30, but I have an auto which has a 3.06 first gear with a 3.23 rear end. But if he could have used first that thing would have hauled ass from 35 second not so much.

like i said i'm not sure what year it was all i know it was a c6. this was at nite btw and his headlights are HID. look like factory HID. all c6 come with HID lights? it's probably a LS2 like you all said.
