bushings and springs question

In order to pass my car inspection I need a new control arm bushing, and one of the back springs Sr shot I believe. Would it be a better idea to just fix those or should I go all the way and lower it. Also the mechanic said I can buy a "loaded" suspension which might be a better idea if I plan to keep the car for a while and because of the miles(87000). Any suggestions on what would be best
 


Get new control arms, they will come with new bushings and ball joints. If you want to lower the car now would be a good time to do it. Get new struts and springs of your choice.
