Another one down, cant wait till next year already. Dynoed the car at Buschurs open house/dyno day on Saturday. Im totally out of fuel pump and the car was leaning out on the top end on the dyno but it made 302whp and 328ft-lbs on the AWD mustang dyno. Then we drove 160 miles through BFE Ohio to meet up with moarkats and get my venturi fuel pump assembly, that was a quite a trip when my FWI started rattling on my inner fender brace and sounded exactly like a rod knock and we were 80 miles away from the truck and trailer and 350 miles away from home. Sunday I ran bracket 1, <12.99. Beest pass of the day I ran a 12.41 @ 110 it was also only my second pass of the day. Had a hard time finding traction pretty much all day. I let a friend make 3 passes and he couldnt get the car into the 12's lol. I got second place in the Bracket 1 final and won a trophy. We watched the IPS TT Z06 record holder IRS car run a 7.20@207mph then burst into flames through the traps and melt half the front end off the car.

Pics and Vids!

That was a very nice pass. From the looks of it, you launch it half throttle and right when the tires hook you give her.
Those tires hook good E.T. streets... nice

This pass I pedaled it right at the finish line to make sure I didnt break out because I was like 100' ahead of the car I was racing. The ET Streets are OK, their better than street tires but its a bit of work to get them to bite in. Best 60' of the day was 1.88.

I got to beat up on some imports that was fun. A kid in a modded turbo genesis said "that thing is the ultimate sleeper, we launched and you jumped ahead of me. Then you just started pulling away!" lol. Yes I did. The final race in bracket 1 was me vs. a 1G DSM. He was dialed in at 12.38 I was dialed in at 12.35 so it was almost just a heads up race. He treed me by .050, 60' was 1.93 vs. 1.94, 1/8th was 8.04 vs. 8.05. We were door to door all the way down the strip with him pulling me by a bumper across the finish. Wasnt even that disappointing of a loss, it was really a good race.

The close race is always the best.

I put the car in manual 1 in the burnout box to keep it from up shifting. I have the trans tables setup to never up shift out of manual gear so it will sit solid on the revlimiter. Then I launch the car in 1 to keep it from short shifting out if it spins the tires.

That whine nice track times and I thought about Et's but didn't know about it with my Gxp, have you been caught in the rain with them by chance? If so how well did they do? I would be dailying mine so that's why I'm asking lol

Lol, no. Thats track only setup, cabled with the DRs. I don't DD it with the ET streets on. I put on 12k miles a summer that would be like 3 sets of tires. I know a guy who does and he says their pretty miserable in the rain. I've put about 200 street miles on them in the dry, they handle pretty wonky. They feel like their low on air all the time even when their at 32psi and their noisy as hell, make it sound like a wheel bearing is tore up.

So if the pcm is stock the car will shift up out of 1 even if you have it in 1? I tried driving like this cause i thought it might help and got laughed at.

with stock PCM the car will upshift out of 1 even if it is in manual 1 but will hold to the rev limiter in second gear. The whole point with my car is to keep it from jumping straight to second if it spins the tires too hard off the line.
