Burning Smell

2 Days my 04 gp starting to make a burning smell like rubber and the steering wheel started to shake around 80 km when driving today had to go to my son school when i got home same smell i touched the rims the driver side is hot and i tossed some snow on the rim and brake rotor real hot started steaming away the passenger side is normal not hot at all could it be brake dragging ??

sounds like it. time to take the wheel off and check out the caliper, the rubber hose is known to fail and not let fluid back through it.

ok thought so my friend is going to look at it today

the caliper was shot got a new one along with brake pads all good now

the rotor look ok? once heated like that they warp and get grooves dug into them.

My friend who works on my car said the rotor was fine
