burning metal smell and screeching

alright i got a pretty strong burning metal smell comming from my breaks/rotors, not to sure if its front or back or both but i do know its a pretty strong smell, also when i back up or turn my wheel most of the time i hear a screeching/whistling sound, anyone know wtf is up?
 


i do not, think it could just be break dust? havnt washed the car in long time and could the screeching noise just be low power steering fluid?
 
If it smells like brakes jack it up and see which wheel makes the noise when you turn it by hand.
 
it seems like it only does it when im moving tho, when im at a dead stop turning the wheel theres no noise
 
brakes won't make noise when they aren't doing anything. Jack it up and spin each wheel independently and see which is making noise.
 


Pffft quickest test. Go drive. Get out and touch the wheel, not the brakes. Is one wheel hotter than the rest? Bingo..
