Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

ok guys i finally got my wheels and tires together. i went through hell just to get the 255/45/18 tires. the first 2 were easy i found on craigslist brand new dunlop for $140. the other 2 were hell! no shop in the city have it. i have to drive little bit on the south side of chicago to some ghetto side of town lucky i found almost a matching set. one was a dunlop and the other was pirrelli. both are 255/45/18 btw still with lot of meat on. i want to thank vinniegtp for helping me out with the bullitt and tire size. i'm glad i took his advice with the 255 over the 275 cause i would have to fender roll which i hate to do. no fender roll or rub at all on the 255. oh also thanks to steve clark, ride'n on chrome. here some pic. it was raining that's why the car looks dirty.

I have yet to see a Grand Prix that looked great with the bullit rims.

Monte Carlo on the other hand.... probably the best looking rims I've seen on one of those.

Those are how I want my tires to look. If only I would have known how 245s look on a 9" wheel i would have gone 255.

Good choice of color and size. Keep and eye on those rear fenders still when hitting bumps or if you have passangers. Its really easy toroll the fenders if yo have to. Enjoy your new car:)

thanks guys! i'm not going to have to worry about the back wheel much cause i always slow down on a bump and beside my back seat is like brand new. nobody hardly ever sit on the back seat. i say maybe about twice i had someone sat on the back seat since i bought the car 2 years ago.

Where exactly do you live in Chicago. I need to come pick a nice lookin' Monte Carlo.

I swear you guys are spoiling me. I think on occasion about dumping the GP and picking up a Monte Carlo, I do like the looks of the Supercharged ones and well since yours is already fixed up and customized I can just come pick yours up in the middle of the night if you tell me where to show up at.

holy crap those are nice! do they rub or anything? are you lowered? makes me think about doing something like this..

i live on the corner of ciero and division. don't worry about the neighbor it might look very ghetto, but everybody is very friendly hehe, lol! the 2000-2005 have same body style. i think the LS and basic SS model do not come with the ground effect unless the car was ordered with one. 04-05 was when the supercharged became available. yeah i think you should dump the gp and get a monte:p. i can see you in a 04 intimidator ss, scotty:th_thumb-up:.

the interior was done by bbengineer he's from monte carlo and impala club. there's somebody from here can do the same thing too . i believe his name is sabrewing.

yes the monte is lowered with ssc springs still riding on stock struts. i think i need to change very soon. i spoked too soon vinnie, about not to worry about rolling the fender. i drove the car around today and i can hear a little scrape when hitting bumps. looks like i'm going to be rolling the fenders.

It's something most people don't want to do because they have to beat on their car. Dont be too hard on yourself, it only takes a few minutes to do.

rolling the fenders is easy once you figure out how hard you need to hit it to get it to bend nicely. just remember to heat up that paint!

any kind heat gun will work right? how long do i put the heat gun on the fender before i start to pounding on it?

can you give me direction for the pipe method? i'm going to practice this on my beater first before i attemp on the monte.

i like the heat gun and mallet method better. so i only roll to where it hit right? i don't have to roll down the whole fender?
