I'm getting my comp g dropped off tomorrow with a blown motor so I'll be putting my L67 in it I've had laying in the garage for about 2 years. As of now the plans are s1x, p&p heads, and eventually fsic. I'm looking to hit 12's for under $4,000 including the car. I'll have pics up tom.

Just dropped off :D I'm going to change the oil in it and see what we have. I don't hear the motor knocking at all right now and the guy told me he change a lifter out so fingers crossed the motor can be saved.

I'm going to see if the motor can be salvaged first. Josh there will be more soon I still have to go out and look at the motor and see what can be done. I'll snap pics when I go out.

No rust but horrible misfire. I took it down the road after the oil change and I don't think it's rod knock but it's hard to hear over the exhaust leak. Does a 97-03 dp fit the 04+? I think I might swap the dp and listen a little better.

Nice find, hope you can slavage her. I think the 97-03 dp will bolt in just fine, but on 04+ the cat is moved even farther forward so you might have alittle trouble with the oxygen sensor wires reaching. You can always make it work.

It'll get pretty. I want it to get running good first lol. What color do you guys think I should paint the motor if I do end up swapping it out?
