It's been way over due. I've decided to make a ride thread. I've got the day off to celebrate MLK Jr. So I've got the time, plus it's too cold out to do anything else. I took about 7 pics of the car and decided that was enough standing in the cold. High of -4* here today.

I like it. Needs less sunroof deflector though

I actually agree, but I spent the money on the thing and don't want it to go to waste. Makes a huge difference when driving down the road, can actually have a conversation at a normal voice level, where as you'd almost be shouting before.
 
I was thinking about doing retrofit projectors, can't seem to find the thread I read once upon time about it. The one I found has most of the pictures missing. Anyone think they know what I'm talking about?

Also have 180* t-stat to put in; going to wait til it warms up a bit outside to do it. I know where it goes, but someone once told me I need to bleed the air out of the system when I put it back together or it could cause big problems. How is this done?

Lastly... thought for the moment.... I've looked into getting the GMPP handling upgrade kit and BillBoost suggested Energy Suspension bushings and endlinks. Which ones do I need?
 


I actually have a buddy who has started tuning it for me. We've put it on hold because of the cold temps though. When it gets above 0* and I get my 180* t-stat in, we'll hook it back up and change a few more things.
 
Ok good you had me worried there for a min, even with headers slapping a 3.4 on there will probably make your car slower without a tune. Really sharp looking car though.....except too many doors lol

I spent month looking for a supercharged silver 4 door before I bought this one. I like having the passengers get in the backseat through their own doors and putting junk in the backseat easily. That's just me though. Plus just a hint of sleeper mode... haha.
 


Clearly it's silver. I'm not color blind.
I was just confused, and in the very first pic when I turned my laptop screen down it does look like it could be a white one in the shade.
In person, I think I've only seen like one white one ever and one blue one, and I've seen like three or four silver ones including my own.
 
Oh yeah, I see it now. The snow on the ground mixed with the white Bonne gives your car that look ha.

I honestly wouldn't turn down any color LE. They're slowly becoming my favorite "edition" 2nd Gen GP
 


I got me 180* tstat in yesterday and we started working on a tune. How much KR would one expect to see in a set-up like I've got? Also, how much boost should I be expecting to see?

You want to tune it to have 0* of KR it shouldn't be hard and boost depends, how warm is it there? At like 70*F I'd expect like 9 maybe 10psi but every car is a little different I have a 3.8" pulley and I see 5.9psi when I should see 8 lol
 
I understand that the goal is 0* KR. We can't seem to get rid of it; already running rich at the rpm's where it's happening and we've started pulling timing which is frustrating. It was about 20*F yesterday, I made 10.xxx psi; I was a little surprised that it was that much.
 
Honestly I'd just tune it to run good around town, wait till the weather changes and summer gas is back before you go for performance tune
