• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Brrrrrrrr

You know that is -96*F, right? I think you're misinformed considering, right now in Keswick, its a balmy -8*F / -22*C

Your math is effed up. You didn't do the negative right.

Celsius to Fahrenheit is (Temp x 1.8) + 32
Fahrenheit to Celsius is (Temp - 32) x 1.8

So -36*C is (-36 x 1.8) + 32 = -32.8 F

I think I effed up the F to C formula. I am going off of memory on it and its been about 18 years since I used it. The C to F formula is for sure correct though.

Yea I'm probably wrong, should have double checked what i put in my TI86 :th_lipssealed1:

EDIT: TI86 confirms -36*C = -32.8*F

Well the snow has been coming down good since early this morning. I hear a beeping outside, to see someome with a bobcat thing clearing snow in the street lol. Never seen that before. At first he was going up a curb a few houses down, which confused me

Well, we were supposed to start getting hammered with snow this evening around 6 and it now looks like we aren't going to get anything. The latest hourly forecast doesn't even show any snow accumulation.

This is the 3rd major storm we have dodged in our area. That only means one thing though, that we are going to get absolutely b!tch smacked really good, really soon by one.

I'm kinda pissed we are only supposed to get like 5" here, down in flint they are calling for like 10-14" or something crazy

A few weeks ago we were supposed to get anywhere from 4-8". We literally got nothing in my area, but 30 miles north got a good 6" of snow.

Sounds like your area is like mine when it comes to rain anyway. We would watch storm after storm get predicted for our area, but almost every time it would disappear and reappear right as it went over us. Or it would go to the right or left of us as it passed. It was crazy to see almost every storm do that on radar.

im supposed to get 4-8 tonight into tomorrow. it its like the last storm, nothing will happen.

they closed the post office here last storm, WTF is that all about? you show up and deliver the god damn mail, you took a oath damn it!!!

got 12" so far, still gonna keep going for another 7 hrs, already snowblowed once. Roads are a complete *****

Its been snowing for 19 hours and still going lol. It hasn't been the heaviest snowfall but its still accumulating. Illinois got the heavy stuff I guess. Gonna snowblow for the 3rd time. Buy hey no school tomorrow. I wasn't sure if it would close, college doesn't close for much.

Some impressive street pics. No plows seen on our street yet. Public schools are closed again tomorrow.

Makes the snowblower look small. The auger housing is a foot and a half tall.

Need more 4x4 pirx pictures! Cold as hell and windy, took the truck to work because I don't wanna run my car into snow drifts plus Rwd hooning

Maybe tomorrow lol. If the street is still unplowed tomorrow I'll be sure to get some pics. It's like 10 inches in most areas. I did the street in front of our house and neighbors. And my neighbor across the street did his side so our section of street is clean. Which is seen in the pics. Right behind me is all the unplowed stuff.

they have done a piss poor job on the roads this time around. frozen washboards all over, cars stuck on this nothing of a incline in front of my apt building. a tractor trailer was stuck for 3 hours, many cars, now last was a plow truck with a on bed salt spreader. he either had no 4wd, or it was broken lol

after snow blowing twice all is good now, roads are pretty much all done. Not the kind of temperature to replace a power steering line on the truck though.......
