The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
My car doesnt make any noises, just goes to "instant" warm idle rpm haha.
95 f150 and the 97 chevy 3500 those make some noises like you squeezed a goose for a few seconds. I will try and refrain from trying to start those monday just to spare them the abuse, I wont even try my car it doesnt even start in 0 sitting for a few days so I know its dead already.
Casualty today when checking oil, hood strut decided to start SPEWING. After adding a quart of oil to the truck and that taking a minute to come out I dont think I will attempt to start the gtp until wednesday, battery is dead anyway haha. Trucks up and running so Ill take that to the gym!
It was -21 or -22 when I left for work this morning, felt like -45 lol.
I had the car plugged in for 2 days, started the beast right up, tires were all squared from sitting and every bump was hard as hell with such a stiff car.
Did the snow for the 3rd time in 18 hours. In the first pic the snow was taller than the snowblower, yet it still plowed through it lol. I did have to go back and pick up the remaining snow that went over top of it. BTW the height of the snowblower is over a foot tall (12.7 in) That happened in between the 2nd and 3d time clearing the snow, mostly from drifts though.
This is all the snow from the sidewalk and our side of the street. It stands pretty tall, not sure exactly but I should somehow check. Still no snow plow trucks after the 9-10 inches we got all day yesterday.
Oh lucky. Not a chance of it melting any time soon here, although Friday is supposed to get to 36°F. Tomorrow will apparently be worse than today. Right now it's 0°F (and extremely windy), and that's tomorrow's high. I'm going to work tomorrow sadly, and cold starting my car at -7°F (-21°C)
I will record it, lets see if my p/s whine was related to me turning the wheel with it off before starting it. That was the only odd noise it made at 2°F
Here the 2° startup
It's brand new fluid since late summer so I'm sure it helps over the nasty original stuff that was in it. All burnt smelling and worn out. I was joking about synthetic power steering fluid but now I'm curious.
Redline/Amsoil/royal purple makes it. I suppose since it's compatible I could use full synthetic Dex VI and that would count. I'm not worried about it though.
