Broken driver seat

The supports in my seat on the bottom left side of then"butt" cushion seem to have broken. The seat supports fine on the right side, but dips on the left. Has anyone encountered this? It seemed to happen on my Monte too. Is there a fix, or do i just need another seat?
 


You talking about the thin wire mesh that supports the "butt" cushion? I'm a fat ass, and mine all broke. My quick fix was to pull the seat and put some thin wood in its place. Worked fine, until my spine said "Hey, where's the support?". This happened while I was looking for new seats, so when I found them, I tossed the old ones.....

Im so jealous! I've been looking for a decent set of 04+ leather seats for about 3 years.. Mom said best comes to those who wait but holy hell this is just dumb.. Anyway ya get a jy seat or a set of 04+ your ass will notice the difference

I looked for about 2 years myself. I cruise Craigslist a lot, and one day an ad popped up for an '04 being parted out. Bam! Charcoal leather seats for $150. Picked them up a few days later.
 


Is there no way to fix the OEM seat? Im willing to swap, but i also have access to a welder.

You talking about the thin wire mesh that supports the "butt" cushion? If so, I'd say "maybe" to welding. It is very thin. Worth a closer look, but a seat swap or seat base swap might be required.
