we recently started putting on another intake manifold plenum because the other one cracked and now this one cracked and there isnt anything in the way it is flat all the way around what are we doing wrong?

its possible you bought a damaged one.

it looked perfect,do you think the piece it bolts on were the gasket is got to hot and warped when the 1st one cracked

If its aluminum its possible. if its iron, not likely.

Well if its aluminum if may be warped, try taking a square to the surface to see if its true.
