So is there any way to see more then 10 feet at night lol. got the head lights adjusted perfectly. new lenses. i spend $75 for two head light bulbs. no help also got the best fog lights i could find. and i did have a h.i.d kit and still couldn't see

for me driving glasses at night are a godsend.
anything above 5000k in a HID is counterproductive. except for the new XB35 5500 from TRS

4300k is ideal for lumen output. Going over that you start losing usable light. I wouldn't go over 5000k myself. Even switching from 5000k to 4300k in my retros was a noticeable difference.

eh, I have 4300, women has 5, my new lights when they arrive will get 5000. Better overall imo

Well if you couldn't see more with HIDs in stock housings you might be blind then mine made a huge difference but the foreground kinda sucks.

When you had HIDs what bulb temp did you use?

I agree with retros, if you wanna take your lighting seriously.

HIDs produce more light, so yes, you will see more with them in stock reflectors. However, this comes as the expense of other drivers. And if you drive on truly dark roads, you will have hot and dim spots in the beam pattern, which can skew your vision.

Are they pretty good in the MH1? Personal experiences? I bought a set for my retros when classy gets done with em. Hopefully my vvme ballasts power them good till i can get better ones.

I have the previous version XB35 in 5000k and really like them, I'll probably get some 5500 soonish

When I had the 5Five Morimotos they were hellacious bright and focused. I have the D2S3.0.
My 35 watt Densos aren't quite as bright but still crank

And Russ some of the new 35 watt Morimoto ballasts will be in order down the road. You can only use 35 watt ballasts safely with the MH1

Yeah i did more reading on that and after some knarly pics I changed my mind on 55w lol. Luckily my ballasts currently are 35w.

Last night I got good use of my HID setup, 6K 55w High & Fog, I can see everything LOL. Did the mod to run both at same time as well.
