I really don't know... I love the 3800 there's nothing wrong with it. But I was looking at maybe a Cobalt (SSSC or SSTC), a CompG, maybe like a Jetta or something, I'm really open to all things honestly. Even a G6 is in the back of my mind

Oops, missed this one. Yeah man just let me know what you want. I mean I don't wanna give the stuff away because I might rebuild the trans anyway with the demod money. But I will definitely work with ya. Just let me know what you want, I know the fuel logs are a nice thing to have they aren't made anymore, parts are coming off this spring either at Josh's or Smuts, so just simmer on it.

If you didn't live in Michigan I would say Ws6. You can find the v6 Cts for less than 10k

If he goes that route a GXP would be a much better option than the Impala SS. Or even a Buick LaCrosse Super. The Impala SS is just to blah IMHO

Lacrosse Super is more blah than an Impy or Monte SS. If I was to buy a wrong wheel drive LS car it'd have to be a GXP.

Cars I would look at <10K friendly in Michigan
LS4 powered cars.
I also agree with a newer 3800 powered car. I like SSEI's myself. CompG wouldn't be bad though. I'd probably opt to get the newest car you can though if you go the GP route.

And of course like you mentioned there's Balt's and G6. I'd drive either but they wouldn't be my first choice.

These would be good choices. The Lacrosee Super is nice. It comes with bilsteins as well.
