I run napa stuff on everything and their Safey stop pads and adaptive ones never dust on any vehicle I put them on.

I think thermo quiets are a autozone brand, they are decent pads.
 
Get ceramic pads. I've had Wagner's on the front for 3 years and am still amazed at how little dust they put out.
 
I've had good luck with advance auto house brand "gold" ceramic pads. Low dust, low noise, low cost, worked well for me.
 


Running the Impala brakes on my 00GT with Wagner Thermo-Quiet ceramics and get little dust. In fact I get more crap from the road and tire dressing than I do from anything else, lol.. And they seem to bite just fine even being full ceramics. And just normal blank rotors from R1 concepts, no need for cross-drilled/slotted/nitro treated, gold plated, 14 piece rotors on a GP ;)
 
Ceramic - less dust, less bite, no brake squeal

semi-metallic - more brake dust, more bite, more brake squeal
