Hey guys. I know where I wanna go with go fast parts. I was lookin into brakes and suspension upgrades. What do u guys recommend? What about the shorter dogbones?do they work at all? My car is not lowered and I was lookin into doin that also. Maybe someone can give me a list of good handling and stopping upgrades I could do. Thanks all

You could purchase one of our F-Body upgrade kit's. The good old GMPP upgrade might be worth looking into as well.

im stopping at a 3.4 and dialed in tune and going to suspension work as my car needs it bad....probabaly fbody's with slotted rotors, new control arms with poly bushings, GMPP sway bars and trailing arms, SSC gen II with AGX's all around, zzp front and rear STB, shorter dogbones with round poly bushings and when thats all done ill save for an intercooler and rockers....

Really? So lowerin ur car gives kinda a crappy ride huh? Notice much handlin diff.?

its tighter and more responsive around turns but about as bouncy as

Lol. Cool. So let's see. I know I'm gonna upgrade the brakes. Prob just slotted rotors and better pads. Also know I wanna lower it at some point so that's covered. What about sway bars? Is it worth it to upgrade to thicker gmpp ones? Any other ideas?

id just get the gmpp ones, all the others are way too overpriced.

That reminds me, i need gmpp sway bars.

Right on. U know while I'm at it what would u guys do first:get a really good tune OR get some 1.85 rr's? Kindof at a crossroads. I'm doin one or the other in about 2 weeks. I'm kinda leanin towards the tune cuz for one its easier and two I've heard its awesome on these cars

modding and tuning goes hand in hand. The rr's would help you car breath a little better. Id say get the rr's and then dial it in your tune

Grab the Fbody kit.. no need for slotted rotors unless you like the look...I got mine from TDCRACING ... good product

GMPP front and rear sway bar, Trailing Arms, and Front upper strut bar. Very much worth it.

I'm lowered with SSC or B&G i forget (blue) its Lowww... and I love ripping around corners, but it sucks for bumps.. im thinking of going back to stock...

* 2 years ago, i put in Eibachs... took them out 5 months later cuz it was so stiff and BANG BANG on all the potholes (some bad roads up in canada)

This spring I tried the SSC... and they are stiff too.. not sure where ill go next.

Control arms, prob not necessary for the $$

Flip your rubber motor mounts in the dogbones.. do a search.. or get PoLY ones

That should give you a good base for some speed mods ;)

enjoy

Depends on how many miles his car has. My bushings were shot at 120k, i got brand new control arms from rock auto and my car felt like new again.

yep mine are shot at 97k ....so it made a big diff? thats good my car rides noisy and like shyt over bumps lol

yeah man, get a new set of those and some new inner and outer tie rods. When i did that, it pretty much made steering and response like new again. Way less torque steer and its not sloppy anymore :D
