Brake Rotor Ideas

I bought some blanks from R1 concepts. They sqeal like there is no tomorrow. I have lubed everything and they still do it. I am using hawk pads with them. I will be swapping them out. Going back to powerslots. Those were the best rotors I have ever used.

Its not the rotors that are making them sqeual, its the pads.

Might be the combo of materials..but yeah..I'd be looking at the pads.

X2, are u installing correct anti-squeal clips and lubing the contact points on pads?

Yup. Did that twice. The pads are fine. It's the cheap rotors from R1 concepts.

Try better pads and the same rotors?

Rotors dont make noise unless theyre slotted or drilled. .and then they make an air moving noise. Nothing more

Unless your slots fill with rust. That'll make some fun noise.
