Brake Rotor Choice

Got a 2001 GTP that's an everyday driver and my daily commute is 20mi round trip of non interstate driving. I've got 124K miles and my last brake job was solid rotors and ceramic pads (NAPA I think) and they've done a great job....no chatter, etc. That was about 6+ yrs ago (really...no s**t).

Probably will do same again this time.....have no clue what mfg the NAPA rotors were, but bought the best ones they offered....wonder if the were Wagner? Does anyone know? What are some good solid rotor brand opinions? After hearing all the negative comments about slotted / drilled, I'll avoid them but also don't like looking at the rust like another post mentioned.

Thanks,

Steve

rockauto.com raybestos advance technology rotors and pads... drilled slotted cryogenically treated and black... what more could you ask for???oh yeah turn free garuntee

I work at napa as a second job, we sell the napa regular premium rotors and the ultra premiums, both are very solid rotors. My main job buys 90% napa parts and we rarely ever have an issue with the rotors. I would suggest you get there "adaptive one" pads, they are very good.

Thats is what I would do if you went with napa.
