Brake pads for d/s rotors

I just bought some drilled-slotted rotors and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for brake pad material, semi-metallic or ceramic, and why?

Asking this question, you are going to get so many answers. The only input I have for you is that every d/s rotor set ups I have seen pretty much come with hawk pads. Can't tell you how good they are. I have a carbon metallic high performance pad on mine, but can't remember the name. They have been on there for like 6 years now and only are worn about half way.

I will NEVER own ceramic pads again...I had them when I had my Bullitt wheels and boy did the wheels stay clean with hardly ANY dust and I mean HARDLY...

BUT...once heated up they would glaze over...brake fade was horrendous...whenever I went to the track, I would hotlap twice because the 3rd time I couldn't stop until the LAST return section...basically a 1/4 hauling azz and another 1/4 mile to stop from a little over 100 = FAIL to me to keep wheels clean ;)

I run the metallic pads from Slow-Rielly's...sure they make a s**t-load of dust but I;d rather stop quick than a super clean wheels IMO...oh...and I have the stock sized drilled and slotted rotors too :D

I've got Centric Posi-quiet semi-metallics. Absolutely love them, and will never go to another pad as long as they're available.
