brake line fitting ?

anyone know what size the brake line fittings are so I can buy the right wrench instead of the $50 set of metric and standard line wrenches? Im doing the F-body upgrade this weekend and this project has cost me enough already I dont need to buy anymore tools that I'll use like once or twice.

good luck, just did my rear brakes tonight with new stainless steel lines, what a son of a BIT*H, be prepared to shed some blood. I belive i used a 16mm wrench to get the plastic nut going to the caliper side, 12mm for the line going to the master cylinder. make sure u have a good pair of vice grips to get the clip off. Oh yeah and the new stainless steel fittings (if you purchased) are a 17mm wrench

yeah I know what you went through, I did this once on my 99gt, and it was not fun, thats why I was picking some brains around here to see if anyone knew.

You know, I just bought a line wrench and I discovered there are two different sizes, and I need to go get another smaller one. If you dont get an answer here I'll go dig the wrench out and check what size it is.

Now Im not normally one to answer my own questions, but I found that a torch and a good pair of vice grips works best...that is until I the bracket on the front drivers side bent until the screw snapped off in the hole so its probably best to remove the bracket and put 2 sets of vice grips one on the line and one on the metal end of the hose and twist in opposite ways...lets just say thank god for zip ties.
