I have bad news. My 2007 GXP was in an accident and was determined to be totaled. But I bought a 2008 GXP I I have noticed the ride is extremely bouncy. Feels nothing like my 07. Any thoughts.
 


How many miles? I'll take a look at the strut mounts and make sure your struts are still Billstein and weren't replaced with something cheaper.
 
They are still billstein . 64000 and the tire are not Bridgestone potenza. Something is not right and I just bought it.
 
Post a pic of the car. In your avatar the rear does look somewhat low.
Could be the previous owner put some lowering springs on.
That would make the ride maybe stiffer/bouncier than your old car.
 
The picture is of the one that just got wrecked. And there are no lowering springs because it sits higher it seems to me. I wonder if it is the tires. But maybe the struts are worn out. The ride is really strange. It almost makes me sick. I so want my other one back?
 


push down on each corner of the car, it should stop bouncing with in 3 bounces.

or the tires could be egged out. try rotating them. see if it feels any different.
 
You don't rotate on this car as the front are a different size then the back. Tires wrong kind and way to soft may be the cause.
