Took a couple days off... Kinda burnt out and my dd needed some love. I will probably get back on the grind during the week. Some bigger tires and see why my SES light came on lol then some paint, buffing,wax, clay bar, and a crap load of TLC(time, love, and care lol) single again to boot so I should have plenty of time on my hands at least for the next week. Also getting my license back on the 21st and start a new job somewhere around then too so life will be good. Will post some pics when I can take it somewhere nice to take pics my driveway is so covered in random oils its not even funny

your not done. you hear that loud hissing? you have a pretty big vacuum leak. make sure you have the vac hose connected to your MAP sensor in the back. double check your hoses going in under the snout. check your EGR metal tubing. bet you cracked it open when you were taking things apart.

I took some more time off of working on the car, been kinda poor recently and decided to pay off some credit cards and take it easy, well life had other plans for me I suppose. On of my regulars at the bar came in broke and mind you this lady is usually a phenomenal tipper, so I bought her a couple of beers and was chatting away about my GTP and she said "oh you fix cars?" Lmao she said if I came and picked up her 1994 chevy beretta it would cover her tab and tip for the day.... Lol I got 2 project cars now. This one is kinda a wreck though the engine and trans are good but the paint was rusted and the interior smelled like a dumpster on 104+ Texas heat wave lol
so I did what any car nut would do and said I am on my way lol oh yea it did not have any rims either so I took the rims of the Grand Prix and put the sticks back on that I detest but here is what I have been up 2
battery was dead and battery from Grand Prix didn't last long once we got her fired up so I took off the alternator to have it tested.
Removed the grill and hood to have easier access to engine bay
Made neighbor start sanding
All of the interior looks this bad
Paint chips everywhere....
prepped for paint
so all trim has been removed cracks bondoed rust removed and lights removed
And hood reattached for paint, Saturday I will give the bondo and extra sanding along with the rest of the car for smoothing then Sunday paint, the Monday clear coating with a ton of wet sanding in between then let cure and Thursday or so on craiglist you go lol, sell car and buy headers rims and tires for Grand Prix muhahahaha

Well been a whole lot of nothing lately. Just don't know how long it takes before my very inactive thread disappears and wanting to avoid that. The green car above still has not been painted..... The GTP is still not registered. My truck is throwing about 11 codes and the white car is still a pos..... I am out of town till the 29th.... Not that I have worked on anything before I left. Oh well. I will be back on the grind soon enough

Hey TomTom, the brown sludge is dex cool, after a long time it sludges up, just flush your system a few times and replace with either new dex cool or green stuff.

I think I am selling 8( I found a sick deal on a Audi a4 quartro and have been hooked on the transporter lately I realize it is not the same car but look similar enough. I have buyers lined up for the beretta, and Mazda and had one offer on the GTP that fell though. So I dunno, any offers lol? Maybe keep the gtp and Audi and the truck... Still too many cars for just one person... Blah I don't know what to do
