Bose sound system

Bought a 2000 GTP few months back. The guy obviously had a system in it because the amp wire is ran. However, there are many things he messed up. When putting the stock head unit in, he must have messed something up cause the clock/radio/CD display is off 99% of the time and will randomly illuminate. However, my main gripe is the rear speakers are really quiet and in the trunk there are two black/silver wires coming from the speakers that are just hanging there. Problem is I don't know where they connect to. Does anybody have a picture of proper wiring in the trunk?

the radio lights are pretty common for going out on the 97-03 either a radio shop could fix it for you or you could get a different one real cheap. I once got two of the factory ones with the 7 band equalizer for $30 in perfect working condition. They were from a grand Am too and plugged right in

did he jump a piece of wire from the rear speakers to the amp to get a signal?

Idk my buddy thinks he might have had something tapping power from the speakers. He did some toggling and sounds factory now. Still not sure what the harness is for.
