borla vs. zzp



like most have said, exhaust systems don't help the 3.8 sound much better, especially once WOT....I love the sound of my SLP at low RPMS, but hide in shame once on the freeway....still debating on what res/cherrybomb to get to maybe help somewhat...

The red circled thing is going to be full exhaust system in a few months :P If it sounds good and doesnt make me wanna kill my self then ill keep other wise its zzp cat back w/ borla mufflers for me
 
Not a bad setup. At least you don't have to worry about flunking an inspection like here for having it dump underneath.
 
I hear ya. Luckily I live in a county that doesn't require emissions, which is why the cat on my 95 Bonne is gutted instead of replaced right now, lol.... I have my old CV setup with dual dumps right before the rear axle. Slow as heck, but sounds good.
 


Well no install yet. The shop I was going to go to tried to screw me by giving me a $800 labor fee. So I am taking it to the dealership I used to work at to get it put on. I would do it myself but I live at an apartment with no garage to work in :/
 
i have sd headers, and slp loudmouth exhaust, no cats, no resonators.

there is a little rasp right before shifts under heavy throttle. But several people have said at WOT all they hear is blower the exhaust is pretty quiet. That is coming from randoms at the drag strip.
