Kind of a past/present 3800 thread here.

1997 Bonneville SSEI Have currently
Pretty normal pic, it liked piggy back rides. Got this car in 2005. It's about to be for sale

1997 Regal GS (Regal 1)
As the name denotes, it was the first Regal for me. White molting back to primer. Needed a coolant elbow and sway bar when I picked it up for $500. I drove this one about two months. Installed a HUD.

1998 Regal LS 25th Anniversary (Regal 2/6)
This Regal was found missing a front bumper cover, mirror in need of a resonator and sway bar, $450 Installed a HUD. 2/6 becuase it came back after it was sold. Drove this one for about 4 months.

1997 Regal GS (Regal 3)
The often sought after blue, and oddly all one color. Picked up on the same day and only 1 mile from Regal 4. This Regal needed a thermostat, window regulator, sway bar, seat cover and serious cleaning (smelled like sour milk inside). $500

1998 Regal GS (Regal 4)
Great looking car, needed trans lines, brake lines, brakes, cluster. Overall a great car that I planned to drive. Friend sold it for me before I could put it on the road. $600

1998 Regal GS (Regal 5)
Overall a nice looking car, little rust on a wheel well. Needed a motor, sway bar and brake lines. Drove this car for around a year. Installed a HUD. Sold it to get myself moving to find Regal #7.

1998 Regal LS (Regal 6)
This car was Regal 2 as well, came back to me for $100. Motor still ran, needed wheel bearings, transmission, cosmetic help, front and rear windshields. Nearly considered scrapping it, but a little effort saved it.

1998 Regal GS (Regal 7 technically)
Picked it up from a buddy as scrap. He got whacked and wasnt sure what he was going to do with it, but buying it back was worthwhile for a good engine/trans. Stripped this car down to it's basic shell.

2000 Regal GS (Regal 8) Current car
This car was supposed to be an LS with sunroof and fold down rear seat. Those were my only real criteria when looking. Found a GS for $1400 in overall good shape. It...like all others needed work. Sway bar was intact!
This car got an extensive list of stuff: LED mirror turn signals, puddle lights, full stereo with sub and amp, dynomat entire car plus sludged doors, trunk mat, rear STB (had front), 3in DP/GTP exhaust, front Plog, HS 1.9 rockers w/springs, poly doggers/front mounts, aluminum cradle, aluminum oil pan, Lucerne 18" rims, 08 rear knuckles, Fbody front brakes, heated seat add, added power ports/cig lighter sockets, projector headlights, all led bulbs, tint, sequential turn signals, exhaust cut out fasicas, GMpp sways, HT Motorsports trailing, toe and drag arms, Vogtlands/GR2's, HO alt, alt wire, etc etc. Soon to have a built trans and Gen V.
When it arrived

1998 GTP
Picked this up to demod and flip. Came close to losing money because the previous owner Lee LaMountain is a crook that misrepresented it. Anyhow, Lee did a few choice things to it that weren't in the info adn pics were from the Hubbell telescope, so things looked good.

You are a fan of Regals I see :) A friend of the family had a VERY nice Black/Grey Regal until he sold it for a new Lucerne. I wanna say it was a GSX as it was supercharged but don't know enough about Buicks to know if that's the right letter designation :)

I retract my previous statement... I don't want the hood.... yuck and wtf with the pinstripes from hell? :th_laugh-lol3:

Ugliest wheels possible, the stick ons were sheet rock screwed into the hood, then he cut them and the hood.
IMG_4399.jpg

Pinstripes were hand painted, and I mean like with a 2" brush and house paint. Oil pan..

Pic is worthwhile

Fiasco ...after driving 5+ hours with a trailer, I took it anyway.

On the GTP? I stuffed a stock motor in and shipped it basically as it was.
Sold off the head studs, ssac headers (he said slp), the ZZP S3 ported charger that looked like I gave a dremel to a 2 year old, stock TB, XP cam adn a few other things. I barely made money and overall it was a waste of effort, but I made some.

Oh man...I forgot another car .... Check back in the original post.. Regal ..uh.. well..you'll see.

Guess that really makes 8 Regals...say in three years.
