LOL it went to the body shop on the 5th day of owning it :P And I told everyone it wouldn't stay stock looking for long lol. I gotta add my touches to it lol.

No new cool sig till the car is picture worthy with the new upgrades.

Just got a call from Mitch, who's painting my car. Ran into a few issues. Apparently one side of the car was repainted at one point so if he paints the bumper to match one side, it's not going to match the other side. He has to figure out how to blend both sides to make it look right. The color is also a ***** to match. It's a tricoat paint with pearl in it and apparently who ever painted the passenger side of the car didn't put enough pearl into it and its lighter on the other side. To the naked eye, you can't really tell, but to a painter, it's obviously wrong. Mitch said he'll make a judgement call and figure out how to make it work and make it look the best with keeping the price down. He said since he told me $400, it will stay at $400, if he knew it was Tricoat it probably would have cost me $800 before the issues.

thats the kinda guy you wanna call up and say.. well lets do $500 instead and you get it looking nice..

or just pay him the 400, and send mucho work his way

I plan on throwing him a little extra cash and some more work. He's a genius. He got it all matching and sent me a few pics. Will post those when I get home from work :). Looks damn good. Mitch does exceptional work I'm so excited to get my car back tomorrow.

I've had those for almost 2 years now lol. I have always loved mustangs, just couldn't ever afford one lol.

I'll think about it. Mine are spotless. BRAND NEW lol. so I'm not sure if i want to change them or not. They look good.

Yeah, I personally don't care for the "amberlamps". Alot of folks seem to love them though. These are the ones BTW, they're on my brother's Cobra, he doesn't care for them really either.

I LOVE the pic. Seriously one of my favorite colors ever for these cars. Usually HATE red cars but love this color.

my dads mustang, i came so close to purchasing it, but decided against it. 99 gt 5 spd tan leather, tan top, 26,000 miles :).

I wouldn't care for the amberlamps either UNLESS you had them tinted so only the amber and reverse was visible. That said, that'd be an expensive mistake if you ever regretted it or wanted to sell the lamps...
