Hmm that could look really nice especially w/ those Cobra scoops. The rear of your car looks clean especially since you welded the spoiler shut the louvers I believe would take away from all that.

No, all GT's had the same side scoops from 99-04, Cobras were different, and Bullits had smaller scoops.

The 2001 Mustang went largely unchanged from '99 and '00. The 2001 Mustangs got new headlights off the 2001 Cobra R. The GT model got the hood scoop and side scoops off the 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Mustangs, and a new wing was fitted to all Mustangs. Mustang GT's now came stock with 17 inch wheels, and the retro Torq-Thrust wheels were offered as an option.

Only the v6's after 2000 got the side scoops like yours.

Then why do all my friends with GTs have the same side scoops as me and they have 04s?

I don't know, probably same reason all your friend's cobras came stock w/the cobra emblem in the grill.

those scoops remind me of those gillette commercials... MORE IS BETTER. not.
