• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

my brother inlaw just got a 98 gtp. and at WOT its only getting 1 bar of boost on the stock boost gauge.. and i even smoked him with me 01 gt...:th_scratchhead: what could be happening

How's it running? Throwing any codes? If the car is running fine and throwing no codes I'd check out the BBV.

I still say check all the routings around the supercharger and the "T" fittings...they always tend to dry rot and screw up LOTS of stuff

i love how we can diagnose like half of the problems being vacuum leaks and about 3/4 of the time we are correct, even without good information. we rock.

Its always a vacuum leak or someone is running too small of a pulley. lol In this case I say vacuum leak.

Always either a vac leak or bad maf. It's funny, A friend just bought a N/A impala from a salvage auction with a clear title. They said the car was taken to the dealers and they diagnosed it as major computer/wiring problems. He took the engine cover off and there was a hole burnt through the upper intake manifold near the tb. Turns out the cat was plugged and exhaust was just going through the egr and burnt right through the intake. Gutted the cat and a threw on a different upper intake and it ran great. Easy$$$

Make sure there's a belt on the SC, too. The idler pulleys like to explode, you'd be surprised how many people don't even notice.
