Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

boost problem

I have a 2000 gtp and its not building full boost...it was fine untill I hooked up my air/fuel gauge and crossed a wire somewhere now its only running half boost and half vac...I've replaced the pcm and the map sensor neither did any good...car still runs fine otherwise...anyone have any ideas on what I should try?

Check all your vacuum lines again. Did you tap into wires or get the pig tail to connect your A/F gauge?

Is it a wide-band or a narrow-band AF gauge. I had a narrow-band and it actually made my car run worse until i unplugged it and got rid of it. Just sayin... Mine was a Auto meter gauge too....:(

i did tap into wires and it is a narrow bang gauge but it was running fine with it hooked up untill i tried to hook up both O2 sensors because i thought it wasn't giving me a correct reading...i've checked my vac lines and every fuse in the car both are good...any other suggestions...could i have set off a check engine code that would cause this?

Do you have a SES light if so.. run by your auto parts store and have them scan it real quick. Then throw the code back up on the site.

ok...it is on but i know its from not having the MAF sensor hooked up and the rear O2 sensor not being hooked up....both have been unhooked almost as long as i've had the car and never caused any problem other than gas mileage.

i had the codes checked and the only one that has never come up before was something like p1336 or something...its a dealer code but it didn't sound like it would have anything to do with the problem
