boost gauge missreading

I started my car and the boost gauge was sitting and half boost at idle and it was having a problem with stalling, i know my supercharger coupler is bad and my roommate put regular gas in instead of premium a couple tanks ago. what's causing this???

which gauge are you referring to, the DIC?

if its actually boosting at idle youre BBV is stuck or you have a MAJOR restriction in the system. however, i would think it was the BBV first.

Yeah the one on the DIC, my BBV is working i don't think it's boosting

are you sure your BBV is working? the solenoid could be toast.

Yes i'm sure it works, i can watch it close when i turn the throttle.
